Division one had a bad start to the league, losing a lot of 5 setter games in the final set, pushing Coleen our coach to a nervous break down. But a little break over the Xmas period, the girls started to win again. Beating the 2nd place team as well!!! In the end, the girls finished tied 4th place. Hopefully, next year we can go better.

 

 

Premier team consisted of new and old. This years focus was to work well together as a team and learn each others strengths and weakness. Not only did the Premier Girls did this, but they excelled in the league by coming 4th in the league. To finish the league, they beat UCD in a thrilling 5 set game.

 

It is a mix of the premier girls and division one girls.... 13 girls on the squad fighting for places!! Healthy competition. The girls beat DCU in a nail bitting 5 set game last week and are through to the semi final against Aer Lingus.  However, the Santry girls put up a great fight but lost against Aer Lingus who won the cup in the end.

 

 

VAI Dinner,

The annual award night out for the Volleyball!! There was 12 Santry girls turned up to have some food, drink and some fun. Newbridge won the league, Aer Lingus won the cup in the ladies premier competition. While UCD won the league and DCU won the cup in the ladies division one league. Santry did have some success....
